Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dining services across skilled nursing and memory care areas. You will assist residents with meals, maintain sanitation, and ensure dietary restrictions and orders are followed. Strong attention to safety and cleanliness is essential.

The role involves preparing meals, serving at proper temperatures, and helping with room setup and cleaning. Prior experience and willingness to learn are preferred, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• One year of dietary aide experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with food and beverage choices while respecting dietary restrictions.
• Performs dining service routines using utensils, supplies and equipment.
• Assists with dining service setup, meal preparation, and serving foods at proper temperatures and times.
• Prepares dining rooms for meals and handles table setup, condiments, and washing/drying items.
• Completes daily cleaning duties and maintains dining service areas as per policies and standards.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards, equipment issues, and incidents.
