Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines and support a positive dining experience.

The role involves assisting with food prep, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards. A high school diploma is preferred, and ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law; residency in the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service/kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must lift up to 30 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
