Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated server to provide courteous meal service to residents and guests in a senior living environment. You will assist with menu orders, beverage service, and dining room upkeep while supporting a respectful, confidential workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.
• Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and handle setup/cleanup.
• Assist residents with menu orders and beverage service.
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls and assist with tray service.
• Report broken equipment and maintain dining room and kitchen cleanliness.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Interact politely with residents, guests, coworkers and supervisors.
