Job summary

Yona Eagle is recruiting a friendly Server to provide warm hospitality to residents, visitors and coworkers. You will greet customers, take orders, serve meals, keep dining areas clean, and ensure items are stocked for a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, maintaining sanitation standards, delivering menus and daily specials, and upholding safety and cleanliness throughout the dining areas. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a server in a dining setting.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of food in quantities according to the menu, recipe and number of persons to be served.
• Greets customers as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided.
• Distributes menus and presents daily specials.
• Takes resident orders in dining room and serves meals to residents in a timely manner.
• Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to residents' satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.
• Cleans resident eating areas, work areas, equipment and utensils according to the proper procedures.
