Job summary

Yona Eagle seeks a friendly and reliable Server to provide warm, hospitable service to residents, visitors and coworkers. You will assist in food preparation, greet guests, take orders, serve meals, and ensure cleanliness and compliance with health standards.

Ideal candidates have proven server experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a solid understanding of sanitation guidelines. A high school diploma is required; food service certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Server
• Further experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus
• Must provide a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of food in quantities according to the menu, recipe and number of persons to be served.
• Greets customers as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided.
• Takes resident orders in dining room and serves meals to residents in a timely manner.
• Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to residents’ satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.
• Cleans resident eating areas, work areas, equipment and utensils according to the proper procedures.
• Reports any issues or problems that may arise to Food Services Director.
