Job summary

Yona Eagle is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team and help provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers in a supportive dining environment.

You will set up dining areas, assist in meal prep under supervision, deliver dishes, maintain cleanliness, monitor inventory, and help with menu planning while adhering to sanitation guidelines. High school diploma or food service certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines required.
• Ability to operate cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• HS diploma or equivalent; food services certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Clear dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
