Job summary

Ave 81 is seeking a Server to assist residents during meals in a restaurant-style dining room, pub, or coffee shop within the community. The role requires a friendly, respectful approach and comfort with a dynamic senior environment.

You will take meal orders, relay them to the kitchen, monitor resident needs during meals, and collaborate with the chef and staff to ensure excellent service. Some duties may extend to other dining areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take meal orders from residents ordering from a menu in a restaurant-style dining room and convey orders to the kitchen staff.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly, respectful relationship with residents, families, and staff.
• Monitor residents during meal times to ensure their needs are met and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely service.
