Job summary

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s policies and procedures.
• Report allegations of resident abuse/neglect to the Director.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors, and staff with dignity and respect.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Take meal orders from residents and convey orders to kitchen staff.
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents.
• Monitor residents and guests during meal times to meet their needs.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with kitchen staff and other staff for good communication and service.
• May deliver meals to apartments if needed.
• Assist the Chef and/or Executive Director with duties in the pub, coffee shop, or other areas.
• Communicate relevant information to the Chef and culinary team.
