Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dining Services Server to provide prompt, courteous service to residents and guests in the dining room during meals. The role covers serving, hospitality, bussing, and light food prep, including salads and desserts as directed.

The position requires a high school diploma, a current Food Handler’s Permit, and ideally ServSafe training. Prior food service experience is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• Training in ServSafe is beneficial.
• Experience: 1 year in food service including serving/waiting tables, cleaning, and sanitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food, waiting tables, and bussing tables.
• Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests and staff in the Dining Room or Bistro; bus and reset tables as needed.
• Prepare salad bar items for lunch and stage desserts; assist with special events and meetings.
• Follow all sanitation guidelines and state/federal regulations; maintain cleanliness of prep items.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled or needed.
• Open and close dining rooms as needed.
