Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Dining Services Server to provide prompt, courteous service to residents and guests during meals. You will perform serving, bussing, hospitality, and event support in the dining room and at meetings, with some salad/dessert prep as directed.

Excellent communication, reading comprehension, and food-safety knowledge are required. A high school diploma and a current Food Handler’s Permit are essential; ServSafe training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with residents and staff.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions and follow safety practices.
• Must be cordial and congenial with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food and bussing tables.
• Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests, and staff in the Dining Room or Bistro.
• Open and close dining rooms as needed.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and maintain cleanliness of prep items.
• Set up meetings or special events, deliver snacks, coffee, tea, etc.
