Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma.
• Typically 1 year of food service experience preferred.
• Must read and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Must communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Customer service and hospitality are essential to the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving, waiting tables, and bussing. Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests, and staff.
• Prepare salad bar items and desserts; stage items for service and special events; assist in meeting setups with snacks and beverages.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and state/federal regulations; maintain cleanliness of prep items.
• Open and close dining rooms as needed and adjust setup for events or meetings.
• Maintain neat work areas, dress code, and professional presentation aligned with kitchen standards.
