Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Utah is seeking a Part-time Server for evening dining service to enhance residents' dining experience with friendly, attentive service. You will deliver meals, ensure table care, and maintain cleanliness while adhering to safety standards.

Must meet background checks and health screening, with strong English communication and teamwork. This role emphasizes hospitality, mentorship, and collaboration with dining and care teams to create a welcoming environment for residents

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older or have a proper work permit and authorization documentation.
• Background clearances, health screening, and negative TB test results within 7 days of employment (last 6 months).
• Basic counting skills as required by the position (meals/residents).
• Excellent communication skills in English (read/write/speak).
• Must be able to operate standard serving equipment and maintain sanitation.
• Must meet state regulatory requirements, such as Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dining service by taking accurate food orders and serving meals to residents, family members, and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Uphold high table etiquette by serving from the left, clearing between courses, and resetting tables for the next course.
• Engage with residents, assist with meal selections, and address dining needs as required.
• Review and adhere to dietary needs and preferences per care plan.
• Deliver meals to residents' rooms when requested and manage room service as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dining area and ensure proper storage of supplies.
