Jackson Creek Senior Living in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Dining Room Server to assist with serving meals and beverages, bussing tables, and keeping the dining area clean. You will interact with residents, take orders, and ensure a positive dining experience.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and reliability, with opportunities to learn kitchen basics and operate the dining room POS. Candidates must be at least 16 and ready to contribute to a caring, resident-centered community.

Qualifications

• Must be age 16 or older.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
• Patience and a customer-focused attitude.
• Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.
• Standing, walking, and moving about for 3–3.75 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist residents throughout the dining experience.
• Take all orders and close out orders within the Dial designated point of sale system.
• Provide customer service to residents to ensure high satisfaction while dining.
• Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal.
• Inform residents what foods are available on the day’s menu.
• Address residents by name and know their food/beverage preferences.
• Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverages to each resident.
• Keep water glasses and coffee cups filled; clear and bus tables as needed.
