Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English (basic communication in daily tasks).
• Must maintain sanitation, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must show patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and willingness to interact with residents.
• Willingness to learn new methods and apply them to food practices.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals according to planned menus and dietary orders.
• Prepare & deliver snacks and meals, and deliver food carts and trays.
• Perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures; ensure utensils are ready for next meal.
• Sweep, mop floors, and maintain kitchen/dish room cleanliness and sanitation.
