Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food service areas.
• Must demonstrate patience, tact, cheerful disposition and empathy toward residents.
• Must be willing to adopt new methods and incorporate them into food practices.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals according to planned menus and plans; assist with dietary orders and snacks.
• Ensure department cleanliness and safety; follow infection control precautions.
• Perform dishwashing and cleaning to keep utensils ready for the next meal.
• Prepare and deliver snacks, food carts and trays; assist in dining room service and kitchen/dish area cleaning.
