CareCore at Lakeridge is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our dietary team, providing quality meals and a positive dining experience for residents. The role includes preparing and cooking meals per menus and dietary guidelines, ensuring safe handling and storage, and collaborating with dietary staff and nursing team.

Formación

• Previous cooking experience required, healthcare or LTC preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets (mechanical soft, purees, etc.) preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and food safety standards.
• Reliable and team-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food is prepared, served, and stored safely.
• Follow all sanitation and infection control standards.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and complete required logs.
• Assist with kitchen organization, cleaning, and inventory.
• Work collaboratively with dietary team and nursing staff.
