Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, portion meals, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen while delivering excellent resident service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety guidelines, and the ability to handle physical tasks. Occasional scheduling and residency in the service area are required, with benefits available to all employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
