Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals according to dietary needs, and maintain clean and sanitary dining areas.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and excellent resident service; previous food service is helpful but not required, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
