Job summary

Masconomet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Topsfield, MA is seeking a Dietary Aide to support residents' daily nutritional needs, working with the dietician and Food Service Manager to ensure accurate production sheets, menus, and timely meal service.

You will assist with meal prep and service, handle nourishment deliveries, and maintain safe, sanitary food handling practices, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in the dietary needs of the aged and chronically ill.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Fluent knowledge of MSOffice Suite and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine duties to meet the daily nutritional needs of residents.
• Assist with meal preparation, production, and service.
• Work closely with dietician and Food Service Manager to ensure production sheets and menus are consistent.
• Prepare, portion, and serve appropriate amounts of food items, beverages, and desserts for meal service.
• Assist with preparation and production of vending par levels.
• Prepare and deliver nourishments at appropriate times according to procedure.
• Set up trays and/or place settings according to prescribed therapeutic diets.
• Assist with meal set up at mealtime.
• Properly store all food items and supplies according to procedure.
