Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals according to dietary needs, and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety guidelines, and excellent resident interaction. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with ServSafe/food handler certification helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
