Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and service for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help with chopping vegetables, salads, and serving meals according to dietary needs.

The role emphasizes food safety, sanitation, and positive interactions with residents and staff. A high school diploma is preferred, and ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required depending on state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
