The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale is seeking Dietary Aides to join our team. You will assist in assembling and checking diet trays, label and date food, deliver meals to nursing units, and help maintain a clean, orderly kitchen environment in a long-term care setting.

We value tactful communication, teamwork, and the ability to follow procedures. Florida background screening applies; prior dietary aide experience is preferred but not required, and EOE.

Qualifikationen

• Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required).
• Able to deal tactfully with residents, family, visitors, etc.
• Able to follow and understand procedures.
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality.

Aufgaben

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes/utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage.
