Job summary

Aston Group in Florida Largo is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support our dining services team in providing nutritious, high-quality meals to residents. This part-time role ensures meals are delivered in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while supporting resident comfort and well-being.

You will assist in serving meals, maintain sanitation, deliver carts, support meal prep, and report supply needs. High school diploma preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous food service experience preferred, but training is available.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food handling, storage, and sanitation.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents, patients, and guests
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas following sanitation and safety standards
• Deliver and retrieve meal carts, trays, plates, and utensils in a respectful and timely manner
• Support meal preparation, plating, and kitchen organization as needed
• Report supply needs to the appropriate supervisor
• Participate in ongoing training related to dietary procedures and resident needs
• Follow all food handling, infection control, and safety guidelines
