Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care-The Lodge in Heber City, UT is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in all food functions under the supervision of the Dietitian/Director of Food Services. You will help with meal service, tray delivery, and keeping the kitchen clean.

A high school diploma is preferred; you must be 18 or older and hold a current food handler permit. You will work as part of a team, follow policy, practice safety, and help protect residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is preferred.
• Must be 18 years old to be considered for Cook position.
• Current food handler permit.

Responsibilities

• The dietary aide works with the facility’s Dietitian/Director of Food Services as necessary and implements recommended changes as required.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.
• Ensures that food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• The dietary aide assists with the service and delivery of food trays to designated areas, cleaning of the kitchen per established protocols, and proper washing and cleaning of food utensils and dishes.
• Prepares and delivers snacks as directed.
