Job summary

Legacy Healthcare LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and tray service while keeping the dietary area clean and sanitary. The role supports quality nutrition services and adheres to dietary policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing meals, loading carts, serving guests and staff, and maintaining sanitation. A high school diploma is required; a Food Sanitation Certification is preferred, with one year of experience in a dietary aide role preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience as a Dietary Aide preferred.
• Food Sanitation Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages.
• Assist with loading food carts and serving meals to Guests and staff.
• Inspect and wrap silverware, and ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain sanitary, clean dietary area and equipment.
• Participate in table setup and food service according to diet cards.
• Report equipment malfunctions and supply needs to supervisor.
