Job summary

McGregor PACE, a community-based Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, seeks a Part-Time Dietary Assistant at our East Cleveland center. You will prepare and serve meals for frail seniors and assist with pantry and delivery coordination, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma and a dependable, flexible, and caring attitude. Excellent team collaboration and daily use of basic office tools are required for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Understand food safety procedures, including temperatures and storage.
• Complete required food safety training per local regulations.
• Communicate with health inspectors.
• Use kitchen equipment like oven, blender, dishwasher.
• Serve lunch at correct temperatures and ensure diets are followed.
• Coordinate with departments for meal service.
• Coordinate home-delivered meals with Transportation and Dietitians.
• Assist with assembling food pantry bags as needed.
• Maintain logs for temperatures, waste, meals, and supplements.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized.
• Use Outlook and Teams to communicate with coworkers.
• Follow dietary policies and regulations.
• Inform supervisor of participant changes or issues.
• Assist with performance improvement initiatives.
