Job summary

McGregor is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our care team in East Cleveland, with shifts 6:30A-2P, 11:30A-7:30P, 12:00P-8:00P. You will set tables, serve meals, record temperatures, portion foods, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate dependability with scheduled work hours.
• Prior dietary experience preferred.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and serve food and beverages according to procedures.
• Record food and refrigeration temperatures according to procedures.
• Prepare portions and serve beverages, salads, and desserts.
• Collect soiled dishware, clean and sanitize tables, pick up debris from the floor; deliver soiled tableware to dishwashing area. Assist utility worker as needed to complete tableware washing for meal service.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays; wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks; plan ware washing in advance to ensure that all needed equipment is available.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage containers.
