Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, assist with food prep, and maintain a clean dining area while delivering friendly, patient-focused service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety standards. The position includes benefits and on-the-job training to support career development within a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
