Almond Vista in Modesto, CA is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist the Cook in meal preparation and service for residents. You will read tray cards, ensure correct diet textures and portions, and help with nourishment and social dining while following recipes and menus.

This role requires English reading and communication, ability to stand long periods, adherence to infection control and safety policies, and cooperation with kitchen and supervisory staff in a busy skilled care setting.

Formación

• Must read, interpret and follow posted menus and tray cards.
• Able to read and communicate in English with residents and staff.
• Basic math for portion control and measurements.

Responsabilidades

• Set up trays with proper dishes, utensils, and eating aids.
• Prepare hot and cold foods and beverages as directed.
• Read tray cards to ensure correct diet, allergies, and preferences.
• Serve meals, assist with social dining, and prepare nourishments.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.
• Maintain safety and report emergencies or incidents.
