Job summary

Fields Senior Living in Vacaville, CA is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents with meals and dining services. You will take orders, deliver meals, pour beverages, and ensure safety and cleanliness in dining areas, while upholding residents’ rights and dignity.

Role requires clear communication, ability to follow diet restrictions, and teamwork in a fast-paced senior living setting. Training on safety and in-service workshops may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be Drug-free and submit to Urinary Analysis Drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• Must pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.
• Must be eighteen (18) years old.
• Maintains current first aid certification and food handlers.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret diet restrictions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in standard English.
• The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver residents food orders in a timely manner. Knowing the details of the menu and items within the food that may impact a resident’s diet restrictions
• Pour and serve beverages for residents, ensure hospitality bar is stocked and has fresh beverages.
• Follow kitchen and dining room cleaning schedules.
• Keep environment safe and clean.
• Observe residents for safety and report all changes in resident condition effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner report to Management team.
• Always observe and uphold resident rights
• Positively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues
• Assist other staff as needed on the floors
• Assist residents to and from meals, delivering meals to residents’ apartments and helping serve in memory care as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
