Job summary

Avenue 81 Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen, support meal service, and help maintain sanitary work areas in accordance with facility policies. The role requires ServSafe qualifications and basic computer skills, with attention to safety and infection control.

Candidates should be able to read, write, and communicate in English, and be available to work as scheduled, including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed all ServSafe educational requirements.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kitchen area before, during and after meals; maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Serve meals and pour beverages; assist in meal service as needed.
• Prepare between-meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist in daily/scheduled cleaning duties and ensure safe, sanitary work areas.
• Follow safety regulations and infection control policies at all times.
• Report hazards, accidents or incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Assist cooks with meal preparation when required.
• Handle waste and ensure proper disposal according to policy.
