Job summary

The Diet Aide will help maintain a clean and safe dining environment, adhere to infection control precautions, and support daily food service tasks such as dishwashing, delivering meals, and assisting

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must maintain sanitation, inventory, and cleanliness of work areas.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to dietary policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes.
• Assist with snacks and special diet orders and substitutions as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and ensure infection control precautions are followed.
• Deliver trays and food carts to designated areas; assist with kitchen/dish room cleaning as directed by supervisor.
