Job summary

Homeview Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily dietary department functions and ensure safe, sanitary meal service for residents. The role emphasizes teamwork, confidentiality, and adherence to OBRA and regulatory standards.

The position involves food preparation, meal setup and delivery, stock handling, and kitchen sanitation, with a focus on resident well-being and rights. Previous dietary experience is a plus, HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Understanding safe dietary procedures and geriatric care.
• Willingness to act in residents' best interests.
• Ability to work in a team with other departments.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Some dietary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food items following recipes and menus.
• Assist in setup and delivery of meals.
• Stock management on delivery days.
• Wash, store pots, pans, dishes, and utensils; sweep and mop floors.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and their care.
• Keep dietary work areas clean and sanitary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
