Job summary

NRV Health Care LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring sanitation of service ware after each meal.

The role involves portioning cold items, labeling snacks, meal setup, and delivery, plus following food handling regulations and infection control procedures. Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent and good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with food preparation preferred.
• Able to understand and follow directions.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with portioning of cold food items and beverages.
• Prepares and labels between meal snacks and delivers nourishment kitchen stock.
• Assists with meal set up and delivery.
• Washes and sanitizes all service ware using infection control procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows established cleaning schedule.
• Complies with food handling regulations and local health department instructions.
• Works cooperatively with dietary staff and other Center personnel.
• Reports safety and equipment issues to the Director or Administrator.
• Attends in-service meetings as directed.
• Treats residents, staff, and visitors with respect.
• Reports illness and symptoms promptly.
