Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service. You will deliver meals to halls, wash dishes, and ensure sanitation standards are met throughout shifts.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (preferred) and be able to stand for extended periods while lifting up to 25 pounds. Training may be provided for food safety and handling certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Reliable, team-oriented, respectful in a resident-centered environment.
• Food service experience helpful, training may be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal and snack preparation as directed.
• Assemble trays, portion items, and help with meal service.
• Deliver meals to halls.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Stock and rotate supplies using safe storage practices.
• Follow food safety guidelines, allergy precautions, and infection control procedures.
• Communicate needs, concerns, or changes to the Dietary Manager.
