Job summary

Goldwater Care is seeking a warm Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, serving, and snack delivery in our facility. You will follow planned menus, standard recipes, and dietary orders while maintaining cleanliness and safety in all food service areas.

You will assist with dishwashing, cart and tray delivery, and routine sanitation, and you must read, write, and speak English. The role requires patience, teamwork, and a commitment to infection control during daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain the care & use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing food practices.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders.
• Prepare & serve residents nutritional bedtime snacks and substitute foods as needed.
• Deliver carts, trays to designated areas and serve in dining room; assist with dishwashing/cleaning as required.
