Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our team in Michigan. You will provide warm hospitality to residents, visitors and coworkers and help maintain a clean, well-organized dining environment.

The role requires proven dietary aide experience, solid knowledge of sanitation and safety, and good communication. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, with a food service certification as a plus. Hiring bonuses apply after 30, 60, and 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist with expenses tracking and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
