Job summary

DaySpring of Wallace is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, high-quality meals to residents. You will assist with meal preparation, serving, and accommodating dietary needs.

You will maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness, follow food safety practices, support inventory, and collaborate with the dietary team to ensure a positive, compassionate dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation, portioning, and serving per dietary plans.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
• Provide meal assistance and support to residents during meals.
• Adhere to food safety protocols and proper storage.
• Support inventory and notify manager of shortages.
• Collaborate with dietary team to ensure smooth service.
• Fulfill special dietary requests and resident preferences.
