Job summary

St. James Manor & Villas in Crete, IL is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to enrich the dining experience for residents. This role supports nutritious meals, portion control, and timely service in a warm, patient-centered environment.

You will work with a culinary team to prepare and deliver meals, assist with meal service, and help maintain a clean dining area. Weekend and holiday availability is required, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing.
• Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed
