Job summary

St. James' Manor is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for our residents. You will serve nutritious and visually appealing meals, assist in meal service, and ensure portion control and cleanliness throughout the dining area.

This full-time role requires weekend availability, physical capability to lift 25 lbs, and strong customer service. We offer a robust benefits package and a supportive team environment at our Illinois facility.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs and carry items a minimum distance of 50 feet.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing.
• Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures.
• Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience.
• Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed.
