Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a hungry, customer-focused dining assistant to support residents during meals at our Chester, VA location. You will help with menu orders, beverage service, and dining-room upkeep while following safety and confidentiality policies.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to read instructions, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and career growth are offered as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Basic food service knowledge and ability to follow serving procedures.
• Ability to assist residents with menu items and meals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents when placing orders from the menu.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea).
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls before and after meals.
• Report any broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Understand sit-down service and proper serving techniques.
• Assist with tray service and dining room cleanliness.
