Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dialysis transporter to provide safe, timely and courteous transport for patients between nursing homes and the dialysis center. The role requires adherence to ESRD facility rules, patient confidentiality, and professional conduct.

Primary duties include transporting patients, verifying schedules, maintaining equipment and records, stocking supplies, and assisting with housekeeping. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to interact with staff, patients

Qualifications

• Good communications skills - verbal and written.
• Must read, write, understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients from nursing home to dialysis center.
• Inspects and ensures dialysis transport chair is clean and functional.
• Verifies patient treatment time and picks up patients on schedule.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and respectful care.
• Maintains orderly equipment and stock; assists with filing and copies.
• Performs housekeeping duties and cleans/disinfects chairs and equipment.
