Job summary

FutureCare Renalis is seeking Patient Transporters to move patients to and from the dialysis center and provide basic health care services under supervision. The role emphasizes safe transport, patient comfort, and teamwork within a care-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have at least 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
• GNA certification needed.
• Must have a current CPR/BLS certification.
• Comfort working with geriatric population.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Must be able to work as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients in a safe and professional manner.
• Assist patients to ensure safe transfers.
• Communicate with Charge Nurse about schedule and duties.
• Disinfect dialysis recliners between patients and return to Dialysis Suite.
• Provide comfort and support to patients and families.
• Stock supplies daily and help with inventory.
• Assist with lab labeling.
• Complete MOLST communication book forms promptly.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
