Qualifications

• Front office experience preferred in dental or medical settings.
• Experience with Medicaid patients or insurance verification helpful.
• Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus.
• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally.
• Answer calls and assist patients with questions.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Check patients in and out efficiently.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and Medicaid coverage.
• Collect required patient information and documentation.
• Explain appointments, procedures, and financial responsibilities clearly.
• Assist with patient forms and paperwork as needed.
• Maintain an effective schedule by addressing cancellations.
• Communicate with clinical staff regarding patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the PMS.
• Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide compassionate service for patients facing barriers.
• Support other front office duties as assigned.
