Job summary

Sonrava Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support to the doctor during procedures in our Brighton, Colorado clinic.

You will take radiographs, prepare the operatory, maintain infection control, educate patients, and help keep the schedule flowing while ensuring HIPAA and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current radiography certification.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, making the patient the #1 priority.
• Be present and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Assist doctors with dental procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review patient charts and log health history during exams.
• Prepare equipment and operatory per procedures before patient appointment.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with efficient procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions/concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver an extraordinary patient experience.
• Monitor dental supplies and order using approved formulary.
• Promote Sonrava services and retail products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Follow OSHA and BBP regulations.
• Complete Learning Management System requirements.
