Job summary

Specialized Dental Partners in Colorado Springs is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support providers during treatment, assist with charting, x-rays, and patient education, and help maintain efficient, hygienic operatory setups.

The role requires a high school diploma and Dental Assistant and Dental Radiology certifications; 1+ years of experience preferred. Schedule: full time, Mon-Thurs 7:30a-5:00p and Friday 8:30a-1:00p.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalence required.
• Dental Assistant and Dental Radiology certifications per state regulations.
• 1+ years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to doctors, including charting and patient education.
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all stages of the appointment.
• Take and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Complete sterilization of equipment and operatories.
• Welcome and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure infection control protocols and patient confidentiality.
