Job summary

SCI is seeking a dedicated driver to perform first-call transfers of deceased, operating company vehicles and following all safety, legal, and procedural guidelines. The role requires respectful interaction with families and cooperation with first responders and medical facilities.

The position includes delivering compassionate service, maintaining vehicles, and handling paperwork and data entry in our proprietary software. Weekend and night work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of driver/courier experience with direct customer interaction preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays as required.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company-owned vehicles for first call transfer of deceased according to laws and policies.
• Interacts with bereaved families during home transfers in a courteous, discreet manner.
• Enters deceased event information into proprietary software per procedures.
• Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assists with moving them.
