Job summary

Connections To Care LLC in Indiana is seeking a compassionate and skilled Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist clients with daily activities and coordinate transportation as needed.

You will work closely with other team members, maintain accurate care records, and participate in recreational activities with clients to promote independence and well-being. A valid driver's license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a direct support professional or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide transportation to appointments and other activities as needed.
• Participate in recreational activities with clients, including outings and community events.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and report changes in client's condition to the appropriate team members.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of care and services.
• Other duties as assigned.
