Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving ADLs and mobility.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and safety.
• Monitor and document resident progress toward goals.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulations.
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
