Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a COTA to provide direct occupational therapy services under supervision in a post-acute care setting in Indiana. You will work with patients referred by physicians and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement OT treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will be NBCOT certified upon hire, hold an active state license, and have CPR certification; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required upon hire; renewal optional
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT)
• Current state license/registration in good standing
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans under the direction of the supervising OT
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Utilize therapy software appropriately
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and sound judgment
• Communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain patient rights, safety and sanitation
• Maintain confidentiality of information
